Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly claimed Wednesday that “people on MSNBC lie every day.” On Thursday, MSNBC’s Ed Schultz shot back at O’Reilly and aired a highlight reel of Fox News personalities misleading their viewers.
“Serial liar, Bill O’Reilly, you know he really does live in his own right wing world,” began Schultz. “Last night, he took an inaccurate cheap shot at this network.”
“I don’t think a guy from Fox News should be throwing around those accusations. Folks over there don’t exactly have the market cornered on truth telling,” said Schultz.
The MSNBC host then played a flurry of clips that appeared to show Fox News hosts and guests spreading misinformation.
