ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” drew its largest weekly audience ever — averaging 2.1 million viewers per show — during the week of May 24-28. It outdrew late-night competitors NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and CBS’ “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.”

“Kimmel” outdrew “Fallon” by 33 percent or 530,000 viewers per night, and “Ferguson” by 27 percent or 450,000 viewers.

Among the advertiser-desired 18-49 demo, “Kimmel” drew 851,000 viewers per night, beating “Fallon” by 11 percent and “Ferguson” by 27 percent.

What helped propel “Kimmel” was the May 25 show featuring “Dancing With the Stars'” winner Nicole Scherzinger, actor Jake Gyllenhaal and musical guest Peter Frampton.

That night’s show also led out of ABC News “Nightline’s” interview with Sandra Bullock’s cheating husband Jesse James. The show was drew “Kimmel’s” second-largest audience ever in late night.
