Kate Gosselin continued her publicity tour on “The Tonight Show” and defended her choice to support her kids through reality shows and claimed she was a working single mom trying to put food on the table.
“I’m a single mom of eight kids, I feel like I say this a lot, and for whatever reason, I feel like I have to defend myself,” she said. “The truth is moms work, single moms work. I travel and work and that’s my job, and I’m very grateful and fortunate to have a job. When work comes my way I do it so I can literally put food on the table and send my kids to school.”
