On the ‘Oprah Winfrey Show,’ the show’s male staffers told stories about the female-oriented content they helped produce in much the same way a group of kids would tell horror stories around a campfire.
Senior associate producer Brad Opperman talked about working on segments when Dr. Christiane Northrup was a guest. “One segment was menopause, and one segment was hot flashes, and one segment was about vaginas,” he said, making a few of the guys giggles. “And another segment was about heart disease, and so I’m like, ‘I get heart disease.'”
