Chicago’s Second City is a revered institution in the comedy community, having produced a long list of talented performers from Alan Arkin and Joan Rivers, to John Belushi and Gilda Radner, to Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell. So it made sense to hear Tina Fey on ‘Today’ describing how she thought she’d “made it” in the mid-90s because she was working and touring with the troupe.
