Ann Coulter returned to MSNBC Thursday night for a discussion about Chris Christie with “Last Word” host Lawrence O’Donnell. Coulter, who was fired twice from the network in the 1990s, joked with O’Donnell about her MSNBC past. “It’s the only network I’ve ever worked for,” Coulter told O’Donnell of MSNBC. “I started with you. They liked you more than they liked me.”
Coulter would go on to praise New Jersey Governor Chris Christie as the most viable 2012 Republican presidential contender, and add that Sarah Palin shouldn’t bother running for office.
“I love her, I think she could win the nomination,” Coulter said of Palin. “I especially love her for her enemies. I’m insanely jealous of that. I love her for how she makes liberal heads explode….but I think it would be a step down for her to run for president. It’s like saying Rush Limbaugh should run for president. She’s huge, she has enormous power. She sends out a Twitter on death panels and everyone’s talking about it. I think it would be crazy for her to run for president.”
