Early this morning, outspoken liberal TV personality Bill Maher tweeted out a joke about Fox News’ latest hire, former GOP presidential hopeful Herman Cain.
Referring to the alleged sexual harassment scandal that ended Cain’s GOP primary run, Maher quipped that Cain must enjoy working at Fox News, seeing as how much of their on-air team is made up of attractive white women:
The tweet has garnered strong pushback from the political right, with conservative blogs like Twitchy calling the HBO host “Pig Maher” and lambasting his “disgusting racial joke.”
