CBS debuted its knockoff of “The View” Monday, featuring (most notably) Julie Chen, wife of CBS CEO Les Moonves.
While the other hosts were greeted with messages from their children, Chen’s son Charlie is just over one year old, and isn’t talking yet. So instead, Moonves filmed a message that included a stern warning that he would cancel the show if it doesn’t perform.
“Good luck Jules, I love you, I want you to do great,” he said. “Good luck to the rest of the ladies. I have two reasons why I want this show to work. First is because I love my wife so much. And the second: if it doesn’t work, I’ll cancel you. See you at home, dear!”
“All I have to say is two can play that game, baby,” Chen shot back.
