When Chris Hayes, then the Washington editor of the Nation, started appearing as a guest host on MSNBC, he wore a pair of basic, beige-ish glasses. Recently, like off-camera Rachel Maddow and the network’s former star, Keith Olbermann, he’s been sporting a pair of dark, thick-rimmed specs. And now, he’s got his own new show on the network starting September 17 and airing at 7 a.m. on Saturdays and 8 a.m. on Sundays.

lady on sunday talk show gave misinformation when she said that NRA id is valid id for voting in TX. what is vaild is concealed weapons permit this is a good id since an FBI background check is required I don’t understand why some people have a problem with requiring voters to prove that they are who they claim to be

    Dear Chris,
We love your new show. It is so refreshing to see in depth conversation around the major issues facing our nation. Your guests are great.
We never thought we’d be getting up at 7:00 AM on Saturday morning to watch any show, but we do…… we really look forward to the stimulating and thought provoking discussions. They are like a breath of fresh air.
We also make sure to watch you on Sunday at 8:00AM. MSNBC made a very smart decision scheduling your shows. It’s obvious that you really do your homework! Thanks for your professionalism and hard work. We truly appreciate it.
Good luck and much joy with your new baby.

great show. I get up early to watch you and great guests you invite. However, try to control guests like Esther Arwah who take too much of time and do not allow other guests to express views. She overrode Roemer, Defrancesco Soto and Jealous. Congrads on ryan.

    Re Chris Hayes week-end show-
Very refreshing to have a talk show that is not just sound bytes and all about the host but instead an in-depth analysis of the issues. This makes the show also very instructive and thought provoking. That is what makes Fareed Zakaria on Sundays on CNN also an excellent show. If politicians in governments could learn to converse this way then decisions could be make with greater enlightenment. Narrow partisan thinking is pointless.
    Congratulations on a great format.
