Joan Rivers had some characteristically strong reactions to Sunday’s Oscars, and her comments about first-time winner Adele are sure to raise a few eyebrows.
Appearing on Tuesday’s ”Late Show with David Letterman,” the “Fashion Police” co-host says she met Adele at the awards show, and puffed out her face and arms to mock the singer’s size.
The audience booed, but that didn’t stop Rivers from continuing to diss Adele.
“What is her song? ‘Rolling in the Deep?’” asked the comedienne. “She should add ‘Fried Chicken’!”
Letterman avoided comment, but Rivers still wasn’t done.
