<strong> Kanye West gets real with Kris Jenner. The 36-year-old rapper can be seen in a newly released clip of his sit-down interview for Jenner’s talk show “Kris,” expressing a much softer side.
When the subject of his new baby girl, North West, and girlfriend Kim Kardashian arise, the “Black Skinhead” singer can barely hold back his emotions.
“I could have people say, ‘This is going to damage your credibility as an artist or designer.’ And I say, you know, I don’t care, I love this woman,” he said of Kardashian, addressing any critics that may question why he’s involved with the 32-year-old reality star.
“I love this person. She’s worth it to me,” he added, regarding the constant media attention surrounding the couple.
West also talks to Kardashian’s mother about the recent death of his grandfather, Portwood Williams Sr. (the pair including their two-month-old daughter attended his funeral in Oklahoma over the weekend), saying “his whole thing was about joy, having joy in his life. (Kim is) my joy. She brought my new joy into the world.”
West then remembers the loss of his mother, Donda West, and how her passing really hit him hard.
“There were times (after her death), I would put my life at risk. I didn’t have something to live for. Now I have two very special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for.”
Touching words are not all West reveals, TMZ reported earlier in the week that he flashes the first photo of North during the pre-taped show that airs Friday on Fox.
Sources told the gossip site that in effort to increase Jenner’s ratings so the network would pick up “Kris” for a full series, the highly anticipated snapshot of the little one will infact debut as this episode marks the end of the talk show’s six -week run.
During the taping, the photo was reportedly only shown for a brief second to avoid audience members taking cellphone pics, however, the image will allegedly stay on screen for much longer than that for viewers.
