As Kate Gosselin’s relatives testified about whether she violated child labor laws, Kate appeared on the “Today” show claiming that reality shows were her only option to provide for her children.
“I don’t see another option,” she said. “I have eight kids to provide for, and this is a great opportunity.”
Jon has also criticized Kate as being an “absentee parent” during her rehearsal for ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ but Kate said she is also doing that show to support her family.
“I wouldn’t see the kids anymore than I see them now,” she said. “So this is an opportunity that I’ve grasped onto, and I’m enjoying what I’m doing.”
