On Wednesday’s “Live!” New York Times technology writer David Pogue was on to talk gadgets, and he unveiled a “robo-stirrer” that can actually stir things by itself. He put it in a pot of soup and let it fly.
“Once you shake off the soup, it makes a darn fine back massager!” he said. “Oh my gosh, alright ladies, I think we all know what that’s code for,” Kelly Ripa replied.
The audience didn’t seem to know quite what to make of the comment, but Pogue shouted, “oh my God!”
“Sorry, sorry,” Ripa said. Co-host Jerry Seinfeld tried to smooth things over by saying, “that’s the first time someone in Manhattan has said ‘darn fine,'” and Pogue added, “they’ll edit that joke right out.”
