The treatment of women in the Muslim and Arab world was being discussed by the panel on ‘Real Time With Bill Maher’ when an audience member began screaming himself into the conversation.
“Bill have you seen what Hellfire missiles do to Muslim women?” The audience member yelled, interrupting the conversation. “Just last week you continued to reify the lies about 9/11 … ”
“Dad, shut up!” panelist Kevin Smith yelled back at the truther, much to the delight of the crowd.
Although the camera stayed focused on the panel, it became clear from the heckler’s cries for security to unhand him that he was being led out of the studio.
“That went better in rehearsal,” Maher joked, as the man continued to scream.
