In his opening monologue Tuesday night, CBS talk show host David Letterman ripped on former vice president Dick Cheney’s ongoing book tour, suggesting that interested parties will soon be able to catch him soon at a cardiac unit or gun show near their towns.
He also snuck in a jab at President George W. Bush too, working in a news hook about his niece’s recent wedding and it’s “rodeo theme.”
“Just like Bush’s presidency, I think, was a rodeo theme,” Letterman said.
