As New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) knows well by this point, fat jokes tend to follow him. And while it does get old, late night talk show host David Letterman still does it better than anyone else.
“Chris Christie will be giving a 45 minute speech [to the RNC],” Letterman said Tuesday night. “Now, usually when Chris Christie talks for 45 minutes, it’s into the clown face at Jack in the Box.”
He added that the theme of the RNC was to be “A Better Future,” but the theme of Christie’s speech was “A Butter Future,” then aired a clip of Christie speaking and making a chocolate sundae at the same time.
