Matt Damon took over Jimmy Kimmel’s show on Thursday, taking their decade-long feud to new heights by keeping the host bound and gagged throughout a celebrity-packed broadcast of what Damon called “Jimmy Kimmel Sucks.”
Everyone from Nicole Kidman and Demi Moore to Reese Witherspoon and Amy Adams took part in the anti-Kimmel festivities, with Robin Williams helping to deliver monologue jokes and Ben Affleck trying to sabotage things as a Kimmel-supporting cue card holder.
Damon also revealed the “origins” of his rivalry with Kimmel — the comedian’s long track record of coming up short while auditioning for every role Damon eventually got.
It all made for a very memorable show.
