President Obama and Michelle Obama dropped by ‘The View’ yesterday to give Barbara Walters a basket of White House-branded goodies for her birthday (since otherwise she steals anything that isn’t nailed down when she comes to visit) and talk about Obama’s bid for re-election.
Throughout the interview, Obama repeatedly stressed the importance of a strong middle class and emphasized that the policies currently espoused by Mitt Romney mimic the same policies that facilitated the recent recession.
