Talk about a long day. MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow not only hosted her own primetime program yesterday, but she also made an afternoon talk show appearance, and a late night comedy stop as well. Three very different types of programs, requiring very different ways of talking about the world.
On the syndicated talk show “Katie” (which airs on the ABC owned and operated stations), Maddow and GOP strategist Nicole Wallace talked to Katie Couric about the first Presidential debate.
In the late afternoon, she taped an appearance for CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” which requires a quick sense of humor, lest Letterman dominate the conversation. A couple hours later she was back at MSNBC, hosting her show.
