In the mockumentary ‘After Lately,’ which pretends to chronicle life behind the scenes of ‘Chelsea Lately,’ the sho’s staffers are nearing revolt. Reese Witherspoon has been hanging around the office, and apparently her kindness is driving them crazy.
“We want her gone,” demands one. Chelsea Handler is shocked: “She makes me happy. I am relaxed. And she’s nice: something none of us have ever been to each other in the last two years.”
In Handler’s absence, Witherspoon drops her friendly facade. “I heard everything you said about me,” she tells the staff. “You guys are a bunch of narcissistic jerks. It’s like Chelsea’s running an animal shelter around here. Except she’s not rescuing cats and dogs — she’s rescuing failures.”
