Twilight actor Robert Pattinson paid a visit to Jon Stewart on Monday to promote his new movie Cosmopolis. But we all know the only reason anyone tuned in to the interview had nothing to do with his movie and everything to do with the very publicized ordeal between him and Kristen Stewart after she publicly apologized for cheating on him.
Taking this all into consideration, Stewart knew just what to do: Break out two tubs of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. And joke about it.
“When you are young and you break up, it’s powerful and it feels like the world is ending,” Stewart said. “This is the first time I have seen the world react that way.”
Later in the segment, Pattinson did of course get a chance to just talk about the movie he’s been promoting.
