Rosie O’Donnell had some harsh words for Donald Trump on Thursday night, when the television host appeared on her old “View” co-host Joy Behar’s HLN show.
Trump has been widely criticized for deciding to moderate an upcoming Republican presidential debate. O’Donnell was only too happy to pile on. She said that watching the Republican debates were a “scary and sad” experience for her. She added that the only thing that could “make the Republican debates even worse than they possibly could have been, was the addition of the new moderator.” O’Donnell likened Donald Trump to Lord Voldemort, and said “let’s just ignore that he exists.”
Of course, during O’Donnell’s brief stint as a co-host of “The View,” she and Trump had an explosive battle of words. O’Donnell blasted Trump for his handling of 2006’s Miss USA Tara Conner, the former beauty queen who was caught drinking underage. Trump responded by calling O’Donnell a “loser.”
Behar warned that O’Donnell should not make fun of Trump because of “how nasty he can” get. O’Donnell said, “I’m not afraid, Joy. Don’t you remember? I’m not afraid. Look!” O’Donnell slicked her hair to the side, recalling her infamous 2006 impersonation of Trump.
