Sheryl Crow has barely broken her silence regarding ex Lance Armstrong’s confession to doping throughout his cycling career.
The singer, who dated Armstrong between 2003 and 2006, which would have included races in which he doped, tells ET, “I think that honesty is always the best bet, and that the truth will set you free.”
“It’s got to be really hard to walk around knowing that you’re not telling the truth about something,” added Crow.
Beyond the cliches and platitudes, Crow did not mention any of her previously reported knowledge in Armstrong’s doping. Crow reportedly witnessed Armstrong asking a teammate to lie about his doping in an Indiana hospital.
