On ‘The View,’ a discussion on Charlie Sheen prompted Whoopi Goldberg to share the story of her lowest point as a movie-making, simultaneously drug-addicted, celebrity.
“I ended up sitting on a bed … for three or four days, scared there was something under the bed … I wet the bed. I pooped the bed. I did all kinds of stuff … I was so scared and that’s when I knew,” said Goldberg.
Goldberg added that she continued to work while she struggled with addiction. “I did films during that time. I did everything during that time,” she said.
