Whoopi Goldberg took on Bill Donohue, the president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, for criticizing the ladies of ‘The View’ and their defense of a nun who was excommunicated for allowing an abortion.
Goldberg is especially angry over the fact that Donohue pointed out her past abortions. “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, and I say that to you, Mr. Donohue, because you felt it necessary to let people know that I had abortions,” she said. “Well, guess what? God and I worked it out, baby. And when I stand before him, I don’t have anything to worry about. Can you say the same?”
